CRITICISE ME IF YOU CAN, BUT PLEASE DON’T PRAISE ME:
In life's journey, we tend to be happy when people shower praises on us. The truth is no one like to be criticised. There is nothing wrong with shower of praises by friends and well-wishers. But what is wrong is that at the end of it all, we tend to get pompous and arrogant because of the praises. This eventually leads to the downfall of the person.
Criticism is necessary, though it may not go well with some people because it will compel you to improve in whatever you are doing. Though the person who criticised you might have succeeded in hurting your feelings, especially your mind and behaviour.  How you react to it, well determine the effect it will have on you.

Again if you look closely, friends who rain praises on you are doing it for the purpose of flattery.  Flatters make you unserious and lazy and it will not move you to improve on your work. Most times, the best of friends are your worst enemies for they are blind to your weakness and the rain praises on you.

That was the source of our daily water. I was always fascinated by the calmness and stillness of the river. It’s just there waiting, as people of all ages would gather to fetch water or play by the river. With this I totally agree with Hal Boyle when he said, “What makes a river so restful to people is that it doesn't have any doubt - it is sure to get where it is going, and it doesn't want to go anyw...

SEASON TWO: DAY ONE: Today's Quote: “Life is an adventure of passion, risk, danger, laughter, beauty, love; a burning curiosity to go with the action to see what it is all about, to go search for a pattern of meaning, to burn one's bridges because you're never going to go back anyway, and to live to the end.” - Saul D. Alinsky First I want to thank all my loved ones and friends all over the world who have supported everything I have done throughout my career right from Nigeria when I began as a cartoonist.
