CRITICISE ME IF YOU CAN, BUT PLEASE DON’T PRAISE ME:
In life's journey, we tend to be happy when people shower praises on us. The truth is no one like to be criticised. There is nothing wrong with shower of praises by friends and well-wishers. But what is wrong is that at the end of it all, we tend to get pompous and arrogant because of the praises. This eventually leads to the downfall of the person.
Criticism is necessary, though it may not go well with some people because it will compel you to improve in whatever you are doing. Though the person who criticised you might have succeeded in hurting your feelings, especially your mind and behaviour.  How you react to it, well determine the effect it will have on you.

Again if you look closely, friends who rain praises on you are doing it for the purpose of flattery.  Flatters make you unserious and lazy and it will not move you to improve on your work. Most times, the best of friends are your worst enemies for they are blind to your weakness and the rain praises on you.

SEASON TWO.: DAY FIVE: Today's Quote: “The fittest person survives! The fighting man succeeds! He who Fights to Fit, will Survive to Succeed!” - Israelmore Ayivor Good morning and welcome to day five of Andy Omoregie Daily Inspirational Dose. According to Ray Goforth, “There are two types of people who will tell you that you cannot make a difference in this world. Those who are afraid to try and those who are afraid you will succeed” My advice for you today is that you should never stop believing in yourself. Today article will inspire and drive you to self-fulfillment and accomplishment. Rediscover and renew yourself. Have fun. FAILURE AND REJECTION, MAKES YOU STRONGER: In life, failure and rejection is a learning process instead of disappointment. Though as human, we fear failure and rejection but in reality every use of the word “no” is an opportunity to work harder and turn that “no” into “yes.” In the immortal words of Napoleon Hill, “One of the most causes of fa...

LIFE IS LIKE A RIVER PART 2

DAY FOUR: Today's Quote: “Only I can change my life. No one else can do it for me.” Carol Burnett I am so excited to be with you today as I share with you the part 2 of the article "Life is like a river" and as you go along I encourage you to read through with an open mind, open heart and if you have any question don't fail to contact me. That said, here we go. LIFE IS LIKE A RIVER PART 2:  How do you recover when life gives you blow on the head or knock you down? Let's look at the river for example. The river will at times change direction because of obstacles encountered, but will continue the journey to its destination. When one path is closed it seeks another path. So borrow a leaf from the river when life's obstacles turn up. The river never passes the same point twice and is only at that point for the precise moment it is there. It flows immediately to the next point in its journey. It does not normally backtrack. Those few times it does, it b...

LIFE IS A JOURNEY

DAY FIVE: Today's Quote: “If you’re walking down the right path and you’re willing to keep walking, eventually you’ll make progress.” Barack Obama Happy new day and I hope it's getting to a great start.  Today is day five of my daily inspirational dose. I believe my blog can help motivate you to connect the dots in life day by day, little by little. The end result will be a picture of beauty, purpose and fulfilment of a life we all can't wait to live. Once again I thank you for been with me on this ride. So let's go to the topic of today. LIFE IS A JOURNEY. Like the saying goes, life is a journey. Like every journey, it's full of ups and downs. But the ultimate goal of our journey is happiness. To embark on a journey, you have to have a clear picture of your destination. In absence of this, you will go round and round and back to the same point where you left. Worst of all, you may not reach your destination. The simple fact is that you do not have a clear ...
